CAD 3D Modeling I

Design

CAD 3D Modeling I

If your child has expressed interest in design, then what better way to introduce them to that world than by letting them create their very own 3D models to be 3D printed!

This course is centered around learning 3D modeling with Tinkercad. It is a fun, easy to use, web-based 3D modeling and design application. Students will create simple 3D models and keep the files of your creations to be 3D printed at any time and anywhere you can find a 3D printer.

While absolutely no design experience is required, we do recommend entering this course after your child has already grasped the concepts behind Scratch. Those concepts will be integral to seamlessly transitioning to a design application like Tinkercad.
