High school seniors and students heading to their first year of college are invited to apply to receive $1,000 to support their STEM education

Code Galaxy’s mission has always been centered around the belief that everyone should have the ability to learn to code. Even so, we understand that this isn’t always possible.

To support our youth in their dreams of aiming for the stars, sometimes all that’s needed for takeoff is a little boost. That is why we have created this scholarship program.

Eligibility Requirements:

High school seniors and incoming college freshmen
3.5 or higher GPA
Priority to STEM program applicant

Application Requirements:

Proof of eligibility (proof of income, last year tax return / FAFSA) via one of the following:

If you receive a financial aid award letter from your school before the application deadline, attach a copy. 
If you do not receive a financial aid award letter from your school before the application deadline,
provide a list detailing the cost of tuition, books, and other tuition-related expenses.

Statement of purpose:
Up to 600 words answering this prompt, “Beyond needing financial support, why do you deserve this scholarship?”

1 Recommendation letter:
A recommendation letter from a teacher or counselor, in regards to your background, character, and need.

Statement of purpose:

A summary of your experience and skills.

Unofficial transcript:
A copy of your high school transcript.
